Neelofa and Owen Yap Out and About Taking Photos in Campaign for Oppo

Oppo has launched a campaign in Malaysia starring Neelofa and Owen Yap pitching its Oppo Reno Series camera. Created by Grey Worldwide Malaysia along with Director’s Think Tank the campaign features two films of the stars out taking photos at scenic locales.

Neelofa’s film was shot in Ipoh, Perak with her exploring the “most simple of neighborhoods,” with Neelofa looking anything but simple.

Yap’s location is Mt Bromo in Surabaya, donning the hat of the hearty outdoorsman.

“Directing films with a heavy focus on natural landscapes is always refreshing and exciting,” said Sling Ng, Film Director at DTT.

“Despite meticulous planning, we always need to improvise and react to the ever-changing environment. These challenges allow both the team behind the film and also the cast to explore and experience the setting and process together as a tighter unit. Neelofa and Owen are two of the easiest celebrities I have worked with and we had great production support from Kokako, the crew in Surabaya, to capture the beautiful details that the Oppo Reno is able to unveil,” she continues.

Since launching at the end of July across Oppo’s social media channels, the videos have already garnered over 5.1 million views.
