Dentsu has announced that it will merge recently launched B2B agency Band Interprise into Gyro for coverage across the Asia-Pacific region. Band Interprise will now be re-branded as Gyro.
The new agency will be run by the current managing director of Band in APAC, Kieran Vye.
“Consolidating our B2B agency brands is an intergrated approach to creating a unique offering,” said Nick Waters, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network APAC. “Our strategy is to build key specialisms within our network to collaborate and activate the power of the network, ensuring we are well-placed to succeed in today’s fast-paced digital economy.”
Gyro was named 2016 B2B agency of the year by Advertising Age. Dentsu bought Gyro last July.
Interprise – the leading B2B agency in APAC offering end-to-end marketing solutions and specializing in the technology, finance, manufacturing, pharma and automotive sectors, as well as its partner agency Interprise Australia, have joined forces with gyro to create a powerful, new full-service B2B agency servicing APAC, the Middle East and Africa.
“This is a very exciting development for our clients across APAC, the Middle East and Africa who can now tap into the B2B specialists across the globe, as well as the full resources of Dentsu Aegis Network, providing best-in-class marketing services and solutions to business leaders,” said Vye.
